Gillingham Charter School is collecting applications for a middle school teacher for English and Humanities for the school year. This is a 10-month exempt salaried position paid over 26 pay periods.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid PA educator certificate in the appropriate area issued by PDE (7-9 English or 7-9 Social Studies)
- Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances (Current within the last year)
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new methodologies
- A love of the outdoors
- Experience coordinating academically-oriented clubs and extracurricular activities
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a dynamic team environment
