Our school is a well-known kindergarten that has been operating in Hai Phong for over 13 years. It is built on the goal of nurturing children's physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and aesthetic development, laying a strong foundation for their future learning and success.
Starting from the 2026–2027 school year, we are proud to launch our Cambridge-licensed English Program, bringing an internationally recognized curriculum into our early-years education. This is an exciting opportunity to join our kindergarten at the ground level of this new program and play a key role in shaping how our youngest learners experience English from day one.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate English teacher to help launch and lead the school's new Cambridge English Program, starting in the 2026–2027 school year. As one of the founding teachers of this program, you'll help build engaging, play-based English lessons that give our kindergarten students (ages 2–6) a joyful, confident start to learning English.
What You'll Do
- Deliver Cambridge English curriculum lessons to kindergarten students (ages 2–6) using age-appropriate, play-based methodologies
- Create a fun, safe, and immersive English-speaking environment
- Plan and prepare creative lesson materials, songs, games, and activities aligned with Cambridge standards
- Track and assess student progress, provide feedback to parents and school management
- Collaborate closely with Vietnamese co-teachers and teaching assistants
- Take part in school's events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (any field)
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (120+ hours) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Clean criminal background check
- Genuine love for working with young children
Preferred:
- Prior experience teaching kindergarten or early childhood education
- Experience with the Cambridge English curriculum (Cambridge Early Years / Cambridge Primary Pathway a plus)
- Early Childhood Education degree or certification
- Experience setting up or launching a new academic program
- Experience living/working in Vietnam or Asia
