Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Biology Teacher at Modern American International School, located in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Biology Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching biology to students of various age groups, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. Collaboration with other faculty members to enhance the learning experience and contribute to extracurricular academic activities will also be a part of the role. Maintaining an inclusive, stimulating, and safe learning environment is a cornerstone of this position.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Teaching and Biology, with experience in instructing students at appropriate grade levels
- Skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum development tailored to student needs and educational standards
- Must hold recognized qualifications as a Qualified Teacher, preferably a bachelor’s degree in biology.
- A teaching diploma.
- UAE Equivalency.
- Excellent Communication skills for conveying complex subject matter effectively and fostering positive student engagement.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Experience with international curricula is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural school environment.
- A passion for motivating and inspiring young learners.
