Cendekia Harapan, an international school in Bali, is currently looking for an Art & Design Teacher to join our academic team.
This role covers Art & Design for Primary and Lower Secondary students.
The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, preparing learning materials, guiding students in developing artistic skills, assessing student work, and fostering creativity and self-expression across all assigned grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Art & Design for students in Grades 1–8
• Prepare structured lesson plans and creative learning materials
• Plan and facilitate a variety of art activities using different media and techniques
• Assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and monitor academic progress
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation for visual arts and design
• Organize and support art exhibitions, projects, and other school creative initiatives
• Collaborate with the academic team and participate in school routines and professional development activities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant educational background in Art, Fine Arts, Visual Communication Design, Art Education, Graphic Design, or related fields
• Experience teaching Primary and/or Secondary students
• Familiarity with international curriculum standards such as Cambridge, OxfordAQA, or other international curricula is an advantage
• Strong artistic, creative, and classroom management skills
• Ability to teach a variety of art techniques and creative projects suitable for different age groups
• Professional, collaborative, and committed to nurturing students’ creativity and personal growth
