SIIT is looking for a committed educator to teach Adult Basic Education for the academic year. This role involves preparing lesson plans, adapting course content using modern technology, and maintaining a strong focus on academic policies. You will foster positive relationships within the learning community and ensure a respectful and diverse educational atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement effective lesson plans
• Keep track of course materials and attendance records
• Leverage technology for instruction and management
• Recommend improvements to curricula and evaluation methods
• Maintain classroom discipline and support student behavior management
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education from a recognized institution
• Eligible for a Saskatchewan teaching certificate
• Understanding adult learning principles and theories
• Knowledge of First Nations cultures considered valuable
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are necessary
