Role Description
The Score Theory is looking for an ACT tutor to work remotely with students in a flexible, hourly role.
Tutors will work directly with students on ACT strategy, question breakdowns, and problem-solving approaches while helping reinforce consistency and confidence. Tutors will also receive onboarding into The Score Theory’s frameworks and methodology to ensure a structured and effective student experience.
This role is ideal for strong communicators who performed highly on the ACT and enjoy mentoring students in a results-driven environment.
Compensation
40-70/hour, depending on experience and performance.
Qualifications
- ACT composite score of 35+ strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teaching ability
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and simplify difficult problems
- Organized, reliable, and professional
- Passion for education, mentorship, and helping students improve
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with ACT strategy, pacing, and question types preferred
