Requirements
- A reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons. No public transit or bikes.
- Reliable, patient, open‑minded and enjoys working with children.
- Able to work independently with limited to no supervision.
- Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner.
- Post‑secondary and RCM education is considered an asset.
- ECEs & Ontario Certified Teachers are encouraged with rate premiums.
Responsibilities
- Encourage the joy of making music.
- Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success.
- Make learning just as fun as making music itself.
- Build a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed.
- Give brief feedback to parents at the end of every lesson.
