The Paid Internship With Real-World Impact
Napa San collects, treats, recycles, and disposes wastewater for the Napa community. Napa San is always looking for individuals who are seeking a career as a wastewater operator and need hours for their state certification. The successful applicant will work alongside trained professionals as they learn treatment processes, instrumentation calibration, equipment operations and other tasks. The Operator-in-Training (OIT) positions are paid internship positions for individuals to gain experience in the industry alongside professional operators.

Minimum Qualifications:
Grade I OIT applicants must submit a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent (GED), along with six educational points. ( A three-unit college semester course in math or science equals eight educational points; ten classroom hours equal one educational point.)

Position Details:

Compensation is $25/hour. This position does not include benefits.

Internship is administered through a temporary staffing agency, which serves as the employer of record. Napa San will oversee day-to-day work and training.
