Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, Rourkela, invites applications for Walk-in-Interview for Guest Faculty from eligible and interested candidates.
About- The Biju Patnaik University of Technology took its birth in 2003 with the laying of the foundation stone on the auspicious hand of the late Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the hon’ble President of India. Riding on the chariot of Public-Private Partnership, the University has grown today to a big family of 158 colleges and covers all the technical education systems of the country.

Eligibility/Qualification/Job/Position Description-
Walk-in-Interview for temporary engagement of Guest Faculty for Odd Semester, 2023-24 viz. for various disciplines of Centre for UG & PG Studies viz.Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Organisational Behaviour, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering will be held on04.11.2023, 05-11-2023 & 06-11-2023
The engagement is purely temporary in nature and will form no basis either legally or otherwise to claim right for regularization against the post or any other post. The qualification for the said engagement would be as per AICTE/UGC norms.
The selected candidates will be paid consolidated monthly remuneration as follows:
Engineering & Technology
- Candidate having ME/M.Tech degree – Rs.50,000/- per month.
- Candidate having Ph.D. as per UGC guidelines in the relevant disciplines – Rs.55,000/- per month.
Humanities & Sciences
- Candidate having as per UGC guidelines in M.A/M.Sc. degree – Rs.35,000/- per month.
- Candidate having Ph.D. as per UGC guidelines in the relevant disciplines – Rs.40,000/- per month.
Management
- Candidate having PG Degree in Management (As per AICTE / UGC norms) – Rs.35,000/- per month
- Candidate having Ph.D. Degree in Management (As per AICTE / UGC norms) – Rs.40,000/- per month.
How To Apply-
Interested candidates are required to attend the interview at BPUT, Rourkela as per schedule with their resume, two passport size colour photographs and other testimonials as proof of their qualification and experience. One set of photocopies of the original certificates and other relevant documents with a demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Biju Patnaik University of Technology payable at Rourkela are required to be deposited at the time of interview. SC/ST candidates claiming concession on fees will be required to produce valid caste certificate at the time of interview.
