Students handle core academics independently in just two focused hours per day using AI-powered tools. The remainder of their time is dedicated to building practical skills through guided workshops, coaching, and exploration.
Your role will not involve delivering scripted lessons or monitoring a virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate high-energy online sessions that push students to think critically, create, collaborate, and develop. You'll guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and problem-solving while fostering independence, confidence, and executive function.
This position is not suited for educators seeking to replicate traditional schooling on Zoom. What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating interactive virtual workshops centered on life skills including communication, creativity, problem-solving, and self-direction
- Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to help students build confidence, ownership, and executive functioning
- Leveraging platform data and student signals to customize support and monitor progress over time
- Partnering with fellow educators to design and refine project-based learning experiences
- Establishing a safe, high-energy environment where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to grow
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Instructing core academic subjects; these are managed by adaptive AI tutors
- Presenting scripted lectures or overseeing a traditional classroom structure
- Evaluating worksheets, assigning homework, or creating standardized lesson plans

Basic Requirements
- Available to begin end of July 2026
- Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona
- Strong virtual presence and comfort facilitating via video
- Able to work in a hybrid role in Arizona

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
