The afternoons are reserved for what matters most: immersive, hands-on workshops that build real-world capabilities and broaden students' sense of what's achievable.
Instead of teaching conventional lessons, you'll serve as the type of mentor every learner needs—someone who encourages them daily and guides them through dynamic, experiential workshops that develop critical life skills.

What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating engaging virtual workshops focused on developing life skills such as collaboration, communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and creative self-expression
- Mentoring students enrolled in immersion tracks using project-based, experiential learning methods
- Building a supportive, energized virtual environment where students are empowered to take risks and develop
- Leveraging learning analytics and student insights to personalize motivation and guidance for each individual
- Working alongside educators from diverse time zones and cultural backgrounds to provide a dynamic, adaptable learning experience
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Instructing students in core academic content (this is managed by our AI tutors)
- Adhering to a fixed schedule or standardized teaching framework
- Conducting lecture-based, instructor-centered sessions
Virtual Learning Coach Key Responsibilities
Empower students worldwide to grow into confident, capable problem-solvers by facilitating immersive workshops focused on life skills within a virtual-first, adaptable school setting.
Basic Requirements
- Valid US teaching certificate from any state
- Strong virtual presence; comfortable leading via video
- Ready to begin by the end of July
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Spanish fluency (highly valued for our immersion track)
- Experience leading bilingual workshops, clubs, or enrichment programs
- Background in project-based learning, creative education, or alternative schools

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
