Verbal Ability Faculty – Full Time | Surat
Career Express is hiring a full-time Verbal Ability Faculty for our Surat centre.
We are looking for someone with strong command over English, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability, along with a genuine flair for teaching.
Prior experience teaching Verbal Ability for CAT or other competitive exams is strongly preferred. However, freshers with exceptional subject knowledge, strong communication skills and demonstrated aptitude for teaching are also welcome to apply.
This is a FULL-TIME, IN-OFFICE role based in SURAT. Please apply only if you are currently based in Surat or willing to relocate.
You will primarily teach students preparing for IPMAT, CLAT, CUET and other undergraduate entrance examinations.
About the Role
At Career Express, we are looking for an educator who wants to do more than simply deliver classroom lectures.
As a Verbal Ability Faculty, you will help students develop strong reading, comprehension, reasoning and language skills while preparing them for competitive entrance examinations.
The role combines teaching, student mentoring, content development and academic ownership and offers the opportunity to build a long-term career in the test-prep and education industry.
What You Will Do
- Teach Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary and Critical Reasoning.
- Prepare students for IPMAT, CLAT, CUET and other undergraduate entrance examinations.
- Deliver engaging, concept-driven and exam-oriented classroom sessions.
- Develop students’ reading comprehension, analytical thinking and test-taking abilities.
- Conduct doubt-solving, revision and practice sessions.
- Create and curate worksheets, assignments, question banks, study material and mock tests.
- Analyse student performance and identify individual learning gaps.
- Mentor students on preparation strategies, reading habits and overall verbal proficiency.
- Stay updated with examination patterns, question types and evolving test-prep strategies.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning and new program development.
Who Should Apply?We would particularly prefer candidates who have:
- Prior experience teaching Verbal Ability for CAT, IPMAT, CLAT or other aptitude-based competitive examinations.
- Strong expertise in Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability.
- Excellent command over written and spoken English.
- Strong reading habits, analytical ability and critical-thinking skills.
- The ability to simplify concepts and explain why an answer is right or wrong.
- Strong classroom communication and student engagement skills.
- Experience in creating academic content, questions or assessments is an advantage.
Freshers can also apply if you:
- Have exceptionally strong English and Verbal Ability fundamentals.
- Are an avid reader with strong comprehension and analytical skills.
- Communicate confidently and can explain concepts clearly.
- Have performed well in aptitude-based competitive examinations, or have demonstrable verbal aptitude.
- Have a genuine interest and aptitude for teaching.
- Are willing to learn competitive-exam pedagogy and build a long-term career as an educator.
For freshers, we value subject expertise and teaching potential more than prior work experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- Strong command over English and Verbal Ability.
- CAT/test-prep teaching experience is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and teaching aptitude are welcome.
