Start: September

Pay: £130-£170 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-time | Long-term

Looking for an opportunity to lead learning within a specialist SEND setting inside a mainstream primary school?

A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Ealing is seeking an Unqualified SEND Teacher to work within a small specialist provision supporting Key Stage 1 pupils with high-level ASD and additional needs.

This role would involve working with a small group of approximately 5-6 pupils, supported by two experienced SEND Teaching Assistants, while working closely with the SENCo to deliver structured learning and support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SEND experience looking to step into a teaching-style role within a highly supportive environment.

Unqualified SEND Teacher – The Role

  • Leading learning and activities for a small KS1 SEND group
  • Supporting pupils with ASD and communication needs
  • Working closely with the SENCo on planning and learning objectives
  • Delivering structured and engaging learning activities
  • Supporting emotional regulation, routines and engagement
  • Managing and directing support staff within the provision

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting pupils with SEND

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
