Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 and relevant tertiary qualification
- Computer literacy is essential
- Prior experience with QCTO/SETA training and/or teaching & learning support services
- 3 Years working experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
Learner Support
- Provide guidance and support to learners throughout their courses to ensure successful completion
- Plan and implement additional classes or interventions for learners who are progressing slowly
- Create and manage WhatsApp groups to offer ongoing learner support
- Apply knowledge of key learning areas to assist learners with understanding and practical application
- Demonstrate strong teaching skills, particularly in adult education
- Working knowledge of Moodle will be advantageous
Learner Administration
- Assist in compiling and maintain attendance registers (manual and electronic filing on SharePoint)
- Assist in preparing weekly reports on learner progress, absenteeism, and any system-related issues
- Monitor and track learner performance
- Assist in planning class schedules and determining learning material and stationery requirements
- Ensure all learner information is accurate, up-to-date, and that any issues are reported promptly
