Role Description The Tutor will provide individualized and small-group educational support to children and young people with disabilities in an inclusive, therapeutic setting. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering lessons aligned with each learner’s needs, adapting materials, and using creative strategies to support academic, social, and emotional development. The Tutor will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, maintain accurate records of progress, and communicate regularly with families and caregivers. Responsibilities also include creating a safe, respectful classroom environment and supporting learners’ participation in group activities and programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bahar ic-Caghaq, Malta.
Requirements:
- Degree in Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech therapy or Psychology (equivalent to Level 6/7 in Malta MQRIC).
- Experience working with children with disabilities in one to one and group settings of at least a year.
- Patient, creative, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
- English level B1+ is a must
