As M&G Life expands into Southeast Asia, we are looking for retail training talents to support store team capability building across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, ensuring consistent execution of brand, service, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Retail Training for different level
- Design and deliver practical retail training for different store roles, including sales associates, senior sales staff, store managers, and area managers
- Conduct training on product knowledge, customer service, selling skills, store operations, and brand standards
- Support store managers and area managers in improving team coaching capability and daily training execution
- Identify training needs at different store levels and provide targeted coaching solutions
- Ensure training content can be effectively applied in daily store operations
New Store Opening & New Employee Onboarding
- Support training implementation for new store openings across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand
- Deliver onboarding training for new store employees and help them quickly adapt to store work
- Provide on-site coaching during new store opening periods
- Track new employee learning progress and basic skill development
- Review training effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement
Store Level Coaching & Training Follow-up
- Conduct regular store visits to observe team performance and identify capability gaps
- Provide hands-on coaching to store teams on service standards, sales performance, product presentation, and operational execution
- Follow up on training implementation and ensure training results are reflected in store performance
- Work closely with local operations teams to solve store-level training issues
- Support the development of a consistent and practical store training mechanism across the three markets
Training Content Localization & Improvement
- Work with headquarters and local operations teams to localize training materials for Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia
- Adapt training content based on local language, customer behavior, market environment, and store operation needs
- Collect store feedback and continuously improve training materials and delivery methods
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, store management, retail training, or field coaching
- Must have hands-on frontline retail store experience, such as store sales, store operations(such as visual merchandising or product display), store management, or in-store coaching
- Experience delivering training to different store levels, including sales associates, store managers, and area managers
- Experience in lifestyle retail, fashion, beauty, consumer goods, stationery, cultural creative products, or related retail industries is strongly preferred
- Strong execution capability, follow-up ability, and result orientation
- Able to conduct training independently and provide practical coaching in stores
- Fluent in Thai and English; Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus
- Experience working with cross-cultural teams or Southeast Asian markets is preferred
- Able to accept frequent store visits and business travel to Singapore and Malaysia
- Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and hands-on problem-solving ability
