We are seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Toddler teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in children’s development and education, helping them build foundational skills that will support their future learning.
Duties
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Observe and assess students’ progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that accommodates children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- An associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred or a minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA).
- Proven experience working with students in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to educate children through creative activities such as games, arts, crafts, and storytelling.
- Experience in infant care is a plus.
- Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial.
- Previous babysitting experience can be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Pay: $17.75 – $21.00 per hour
