Broadalbin-Perth Central School District is seeking two full-time Teaching Assistants to support students and teachers at the Broadalbin-Perth Elementary School starting in September 2026. These are 10-month, tenure probationary, school-year positions.
About The Position
Teaching Assistants work under the direction of classroom teachers to provide instructional and behavioral support to students. Duties may include working with individuals and small groups, helping maintain a positive classroom environment, and assisting students with assignments and activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with students and being part of a supportive school team.
Qualifications
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain New York State Teaching Assistant Certification within the first year of employment
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
- Patience, dependability, and an interest in working with secondary students
