Holds a relevant TA qualification or has classroom experience (desired not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding practices and confidentiality
Establish supportive, caring relationships with children, promoting
respect
, self-esteem, and a positive school ethos
Contribute to evaluation, review, and planning discussions with the teacher, SENCO, and other support team members
Manage behaviour and individual needs in line with school policies, offering a fair and consistent approach
Help motivate children, clarify instructions, and encourage independent learning
Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with external agencies as needed
Support the teacher by working with individuals or groups of children to enhance their
learning and development
