The International School of Brindisi is an American international school in Puglia, southern Italy, serving a diverse student community from around the world. We offer a K to 12 English medium program accredited by AAA, Cognia, and NCAA-recognized, and our students include military-connected families, expatriates, and Italian families seeking an American education pathway. Since our founding, we have built a school rooted in academic rigor, restorative practices, and genuine care for each student we serve.
The Role
We are seeking Classroom Teachers/aids to join our faculty and help sustain a learning environment where every student is known, challenged, and supported. You will deliver instruction aligned to American curriculum standards (Common-Core), build strong relationships with students and families, and collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and disciplines. This is a role for an educator who values both craft and community, and who is energized by the idea of teaching in a growing school where your contributions shape what ISB becomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that reflect current best practice and meet the needs of a multilingual, culturally diverse classroom.
Assess student learning through a balanced mix of formative and summative methods, and provide timely, meaningful feedback to students and families.
Cultivate a classroom culture grounded in ISB's schoolwide approach to SEL, PBIS, and restorative practices.
Communicate warmly and consistently with parents through conferences, progress reports, and day-to-day correspondence.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum mapping, vertical alignment, and cross-disciplinary projects.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through advisories, clubs, student trips, or committee work.
Participate in ongoing professional learning and in ISB's accreditation-related processes with AAA and Cognia.

A valid teaching certification or license from your home country or from a recognized international body.
