Role Description The Teacher Spoken English role at FEA is a full-time, on-site position based in Maharajganj. The Teacher will conduct spoken English classes using FEA’s curriculum, facilitating interactive sessions that build learners’ confidence, fluency, and comprehension. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, delivering classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback and support. The Teacher will create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment, manage classroom activities, and use a mix of teaching methods and basic digital tools to engage learners. The role also involves maintaining student records, participating in training sessions, and aligning teaching practices with FEA’s mission of developing employability skills and lifelong learning habits.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills to facilitate engaging spoken English classes and support diverse learners.
  • Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, goal-oriented sessions aligned with FEA’s curriculum.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken English and the ability to explain concepts in simple, accessible language.
  • Basic digital literacy and comfort using classroom technology or online learning tools.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment and work effectively with youth from varied socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Prior experience teaching English or working in education or training settings is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, English, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Willingness to follow FEA’s teaching methodology and participate in ongoing professional development.
