Opportunity as a Private Class Teacher with Day Prep
This position is as an in person Private Class Teacher for one fifth grade student. The instructional day is 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday. The position is 35 hours per week on a traditional school schedule starting August 26.
Day Prep’s teachers build meaningful relationships and provide truly individualized instruction.
All curriculum, scope & sequence, and supplies are provided by Day Prep, allowing you to focus on teaching rather than purchasing or creating materials.
About Day Prep
Day Prep is a K – 12 WASC-accredited private school serving students in person, remote, or hybrid without geographic restriction. We provide all instructional materials and comprehensive training in our proven teaching methods. Our teachers are supported by clear systems, thoughtful curriculum, and ongoing guidance so they can focus on what matters most: knowing their students.
Teachers indicate their preferred grade levels and subject areas so that placements are aligned with their strengths and interests.
Compensation
Minimum starting rate for a Private Class Teacher is $45/hour, with higher rates based on client needs as well as teacher experience and specialization. Tutoring clients can be added as desired, beginning at $50 per hour.
