Role Description This is a full-time on-site Teacher role based in Delhi, India. The Teacher will provide individualized instruction at students’ homes, following the curriculum requirements and aligning lessons with each learner’s academic goals. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, assigning and reviewing homework, and preparing learners for exams and assessments. The Teacher will communicate regularly with parents or guardians, share progress updates, and collaborate on strategies to support the student’s academic development. The role also involves maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with the ability to instruct students across relevant grade levels and subjects.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design structured, goal-oriented, and engaging sessions tailored to individual learners.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with students and families.
- Candidates should possess Training or mentoring abilities to guide students in study habits, exam preparation, and long-term academic development.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; formal teaching certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in tutoring or classroom teaching, especially with school-aged learners.
- Ability to manage time effectively, travel within Delhi for home visits, and maintain punctuality and reliability.
- Fluency in English and/or local languages, with strong written and verbal skills.
