Role Description The Teacher role at Head Start of Yamhill County is a full-time, on-site position based in McMinnville, OR. The Teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate daily activities that support learning, social-emotional growth, and school readiness for infants and toddlers. This role includes observing and documenting children’s progress, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment, and implementing program curricula and Early Head Start standards. The Teacher collaborates closely with families, conducts regular communication and conferences, and supports parent involvement as partners in their child’s education. Daily responsibilities also include working with team members, adhering to health and safety procedures, and participating in ongoing training and professional development.
