    Friday, October 2, 2026 at 8:00am PT
  • Interview Week:
    Monday, October 19, 2026 – Wednesday, October 21, 2026
  • Job Offer Call Day:
    Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 5:00pm PT (offers open until Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 5:00pm PT)

Applicants must be qualified for enrollment as temporary articling students by the Law Society of British Columbia. Your application package must include the following: a cover letter, resume, undergraduate transcript, latest Law School transcript and name, title, phone number and email address of three (3) references we can contact.

The detailed cover letter provides an opportunity for the candidate to describe how they meet the skills and attributes identified as well as explain why they want to work in the public sector and particularly at the Department of Justice. Persons are entitled to participate in the appointment process in the official language of their choice. Applicants are asked to indicate their preferred official language in their application.

For references to make a meaningful contribution, they should have had an adequate opportunity to observe the applicant so that they are able to provide constructive comments regarding the consistency and quality of the applicant’s behaviour.
