Job Description / Responsibility
Averroes International School, Lalmatia is a leading Islamic international school committed to nurturing global leaders with a strong grounding in Islamic values and culture. It provides education up to A Level based on prestigious The Cambridge series of programs and Pearson Edexcel. It has three branches with seven campuses spread across Dhaka.
Position: Subject Teacher (English, Math, Science, Bangla, Physics, Economics, Business, Accounting, Chemistry and Biology, Arabic language & Islamic studies etc.)
Reporting to: Coordinator/Head of Department/Section Head/Vice Principal/Principal
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area. Master's degree is preferred.
- Candidates with professional teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed/ Cambridge Celta/ Cambridge Delta/ Cambridge CDiTL/CCiTL/ TKT/iPLS CPD Courses/Cambridge certificate courses/ British Council certificate courses) will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): School
Additional Requirements
- A Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, preferably in an English Medium Islamic School.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience in teaching at the relevant grade level or subject area.
- Knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Ability to work in a collaborative academic environment.
