Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to contribute to the development and enhancement of our English course curriculum. As an SME, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of our English language learning materials and assessments.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to design and develop course materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments, aligned with curriculum objectives and standards.
Review existing course content and materials to identify areas for improvement, update outdated content, and incorporate new educational trends, methodologies.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on English language learning pedagogy, linguistics, grammar, syntax, vocabulary, literature, and writing skills.
Develop formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, tests, and assignments, to measure students’ comprehension, proficiency, and progress.
Stay current with developments in English language
education
, educational technology, and instructional design research to inform curriculum design and development decisions.
Requirements
Educational
Qualifications:
Graduate/ Post Graduate degree in English Language or Literature.
CELTA, IELTS etc. or any other International Certification preferable.
Subject Expertise:
Strong knowledge of English language and Literature.
Language
Skills:
Excellent written English skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Tech-Savy:
Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for content creation and
collaboration
