Role Description The STEM Facilitator is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi. In this position, the facilitator leads interactive STEM sessions and workshops, guiding students through hands-on experiments, projects, and activities aligned with curriculum goals. The role involves preparing lesson plans and materials, setting up and maintaining STEM lab equipment, and ensuring a safe, organized learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong STEM foundation, with knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics, preferably supported by a relevant degree or coursework.
- Experience facilitating classroom or workshop activities, with skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and hands-on teaching methods.
- Ability to design and conduct practical experiments and projects, including basic lab setup, equipment handling, and safety practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups of students, collaborate with educators, and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Interest in experiential and activity-based learning, with creativity in developing STEM challenges, demonstrations, and real-world applications.
- Comfort with basic educational technology and digital tools used for instruction, content sharing, and activity documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in managing schedules, materials, and workshop logistics.
- Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or educational outreach is beneficial; familiarity with local school systems is an advantage.
