Sports Coachto work with secondary school students across Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to instil

Whether you are an experienced coach or a recent graduate with a strong background in sports, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions tailored to different skill levels.
Develop training programmes that enhance technique, fitness, and game strategies.
Encourage
teamwork
, sportsmanship, and
resilience
both on and off the field.
Ensure student safety through proper equipment use and injury
prevention
strategies.
Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and support student development.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and students to foster a positive sports culture.
What We’re Looking For:
A degree in Sport and Exercise Science ,Physical
Education
, or a related field (2:1 or higher preferred).
Strong knowledge of sports coaching techniques, rules, and fitness training.
Experience working with young people in a coaching or mentoring role (preferred).
Excellent
leadership
and
communication skills
to engage and inspire students.
A commitment to promoting an
inclusive
and supportive
team environment
.
An enhanced DBSregistered on the Update Service(or willingness to apply).
