Current opportunities include:
- Two elementary classrooms focused on developmental needs (serving students with behavioral, autism spectrum, and communication needs, with strong assistant support)
- One elementary behavior unit (Grades 3–5, collaborative team atmosphere)
- One middle school resource role (managing a caseload of 40, supported by shared assistants)
- One elementary resource role across two close-knit sites (working flexibly across buildings with dedicated aides)
- One middle school behavior classroom (intensive support with a team of assistants)
Ideal candidates will have:
- A current, active Special Education teacher certification/licensure in Oregon
- Demonstrated classroom experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- A positive, adaptive approach and strong communication skills
- The ability to provide reference contact information from your most recent supervisor (required for consideration)
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working on-site as part of a collaborative educational team
Responsibilities involve:
- Delivering individualized instruction and support tailored to IEPs
- Managing classroom environments to foster student growth and engagement
- Working closely with educational assistants
- Contributing to IEP team meetings and communications with families
These are full-time, on-site positions (37.5 hours weekly) beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 5, 2026.
