Our child-directed model empowers students to take an active role in their learning while giving you the time, space, and support to build meaningful connections. If you love working in collaborative, nurturing environments where teachers are trusted, supported, and valued—this is the place for you.
What Makes Us Different
- Small class sizes (4:1 ratio) so you can personalize instruction and truly connect with each learner.
- A supportive, collaborative team that includes therapists, specialists, and educators all working together—not in silos.
- A child-directed, strengths-based model that encourages curiosity, independence, and joy in learning.
- A positive workplace culture where your ideas matter and your well-being is prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver individualized lessons aligned with student IEPs in a small, focused classroom environment.
- Support student success using proactive behavior strategies, positive reinforcement, and consistent routines.
- Partner closely with speech therapists, behavior specialists, and other team members to ensure integrated support.
- Incorporate adaptive tools and technology to enhance instruction and engagement.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor growth and guide instruction.
- Apply early intervention strategies, particularly for students with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, behavior plans, and IEP goals.
- Collaborate closely with families to support each student’s development.
Qualifications
- Classroom management experience in early childhood, preschool, daycare, or related educational settings.
- Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or in deaf education.
- Strong background in special education curriculum—including literacy, math, physical education, or Montessori approaches.
- Familiarity with child welfare practices, behavior management strategies, and behavioral health techniques.
- Successful experience teaching students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Preschool or toddler-care experience is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and comfort administering assessments.
- Strong communication skills with families, colleagues, and specialists.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
