This is a flexible role for an Abu Dhabi based non-profit Foundation. The Foundation is open to considering full-time or part-time arrangements depending on the candidate's profile and the needs of the role.
Role Description
- Lead the development and implementation of the Foundation's Inclusion Policy and Framework across all programs ensuring alignment with international best practices and local inclusion priorities.
- Design, develop and deliver evidence-based curricula and adaptation of programs, workshops and training sessions for youth of Determination to ensure accessibility across diverse participant needs.
- Create structured learning pathways tailored to different abilities, learning styles, and developmental needs.
- Develop facilitator guides, toolkits, and adaptive learning materials for inclusive delivery.
- Train and coach facilitators, trainers, and partners on inclusive teaching practices and classroom management.
- Develop frameworks for tracking progress, attainment, and target setting for participants.
- Monitor program effectiveness through data collection, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead impact reporting, translating outcomes into insights for continuous program improvement.
- Conduct research on best practices in special education, inclusion, and vocational training.
- Develop strong relations with Parents and Guardians, organize meetings to discuss goals, progress, and future plans, provide regular updates, address concerns and maintain feedback loops.
- Support the development of training content for external stakeholders, including schools, corporates, and community partners.
- Contribute to strategic planning, program scaling, and innovation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field (master’s degree in special education is preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with a focus on supporting students with special educational needs.
- Experience in curriculum adaptation, progress monitoring, report writing, and training or workshop facilitation.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic. (mandatory)

- Proven experience working with People of Determination.
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Creativity in designing engaging learning activities.
- Knowledge of Sign language is beneficial.
