Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Spanish language and a commitment to fostering a culturally rich and inclusive learning environment for students.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach Spanish language and culture
Provide instruction in speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension
Utilize instructional design techniques to create dynamic and immersive language experiences
Offer individualized support to students through tutoring and language practice
Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance language learning
Foster an appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures across diverse communities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
New York State Teaching Certification in Spanish (Grades K–12) or eligibility to obtain certification
Prior teaching experience in Spanish at the elementary, middle, or high school level preferred
Familiarity with differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
