The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, CBSE-aligned lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Social & Political Life for students in Grades 4–7. The role focuses on developing critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and an understanding of India’s heritage, culture, geography, and global perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver CBSE curriculum-based Social Studies lessons for Grades 4–7.
- Create engaging learning experiences using activities, projects, maps, and digital resources.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
- Foster critical thinking, environmental awareness, and responsible citizenship.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and effective classroom management.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students’ academic progress.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and curriculum planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in History, Geography, Social Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and technology integration skills.
