Role Description The Social Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Studies to middle school students, using engaging methods that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world connections. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons aligned with the curriculum, assessing student learning, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The teacher will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, communicate regularly with students and guardians, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bharuch, requiring regular classroom presence and participation in staff meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience teaching Social Studies at the middle school level or similar grade range
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly and engage diverse learners
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning to design structured, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Relevant academic background in Social Science, History, Geography, or related fields
