Qualifications:
– Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Social Sciences, or a related field
– B.Ed. (Mandatory)
– Master's Degree preferred
– Will be required to give Google Educator assessment
– 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in CBSE schools
– Strong communication and classroom management skills
– Ability to integrate experiential and competency-based learning strategies
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons for students in Grades 3–8
– Develop students' understanding of History, Geography, Civics, and Social Awareness
– Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and assessments as per curriculum requirements
– Incorporate competency-based, experiential, and activity-based learning methodologies
– Conduct regular assessments and maintain student academic records
– Use digital platforms such as Google Classroom for assignments, communication, and student engagement
– Ensure timely correction of notebooks, assignments, and assessments
– Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment
– Participate in parent meetings, school events, and academic initiatives
– Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers for curriculum planning and implementation
– Adhere to school policies, academic timelines, and professional standards
