Hours:
70 hours (dependent on course enrollment and other factors).
Dates of Appointment: September 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tests and examinations.
- Attend meetings with supervisor.
- Mark presentations, reports, reflections, quizzes, and oral presentations.
- Mark final examinations.
- Consult with students.
- Invigilate assessments.
Qualifications:
- A 4‑year degree in Biology or a related field with relevant background for the course.
- Academic qualifications and enrollment as a graduate student preferred.
- Previous TA experience preferred.
- Appropriate background in the subject/specialty within the Department of Biology.
- Previous involvement in the development of this course or TA experience in a similar course preferred.
- Preference given to applicants advanced to rank of Sessional Lecturer II or III.
- Canadians and permanent residents given priority.
Rate of Pay: $55.25 per hour in accordance with the CUPE 3902, Unit 3 collective agreement.
