Role Description

The Senior Training Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambodia. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes that help founders and business leaders improve their financial management and business practices. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs assessments, creating training flow, curricula and materials, facilitating workshops and interactive sessions, and providing follow-up coaching or support. The Senior Training Specialist collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with FBO’s mission. The role also involves monitoring training effectiveness, collecting feedback, and making continuous improvements to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACCA, CPA, or CAT qualifications (completed or in progress) are highly preferred.
  • Background in training design and delivery, including curriculum development and facilitation of workshops or seminars is a plus.
  • Experience in business, finance, or entrepreneurship, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical learning for founders and leaders is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and encourage active participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs, analyse data, and use feedback to improve training programmes.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training projects and meet deadlines.
