Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and caring Senior Teachers for our Pre-school section to lead classroom activities and ensure a nurturing learning environment for young learners.
Job Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum standards, schemes of work, and school expectations.
- Use a range of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive, engaging, and student-centred learning environment.
- Promote independent thinking, inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and academic confidence among students.
- Use appropriate differentiation to support mixed-ability learners.
Assessment and Student Progress
- Assess student learning through classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, projects, practical work, presentations, and other suitable methods.
- Provide timely, constructive, and actionable feedback to students.
- Monitor student progress and identify students requiring academic support or intervention.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of attendance, assessment, achievement, behaviour, and progress.
- Prepare report comments, progress summaries, and academic documentation as required.
Classroom Management and Student Development
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and positive learning routines.
- Promote students’ academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
- Address classroom concerns professionally and escalate major issues according to school policy.
Parent and School Communication
- Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding academic performance, behaviour, progress, and well-being.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, student review meetings, school events, and academic discussions.
Curriculum and School Contribution
- Contribute to curriculum planning, schemes of work, resource development, assessment preparation, moderation, and review processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
- Support school activities, clubs, events, duties, examinations, and co-curricular programmes as assigned.
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers in day-to-day classroom practice where applicable.
Professional Responsibilities
- Uphold all school policies related to safeguarding, child protection, confidentiality, health and safety, discipline, and professional ethics.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by school leadership in support of academic excellence.
Educational Requirements
- Masters
- Master’s Degree in the relevant subject area; teaching qualification preferred.
- Skills Required: Teaching/ Training, Education, Presentation skill, Child Education, School Teacher, Early Childhood Development (ECD), CELTA, Cambridge Curriculum
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):School,Kindergarten,Madrasa
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in a Cambridge or international curriculum school will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a class independently and deliver measurable student progress.
