About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Associate to join our team in Yangon. The official title of this role is Senior Associate. This is not an entry-level role – we are looking for someone who has a proven track record of guiding students towards the Malaysia University pathway, who takes their professional development seriously, and who genuinely cares about doing right by the students and families they work with.
As a Senior Associate, you will manage your own portfolio of student consultations from initial enquiry through to successful enrollment, while also playing a mentoring role within the team – helping maintain the consistency and quality of service that One Asia Education is built on.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing the full student journey – from initial consultation and programme selection through to university application, visa processing, and pre-departure support
* Conducting in-depth consultations with students and their families to understand their goals, qualifications, and financial situation, and recommending the most suitable university and programme accordingly
* Booking and conducting parent consultations to ensure families are fully informed and confident before making a decision
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for every lead and enrolled student
* Mentoring and supporting junior Associates to help them develop their consultation skills
* Staying up to date with the latest developments across Malaysian universities, programmes, entry requirements, and visa regulations
* Contributing to lead generation through referrals, school partnerships, and community engagement
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in education consulting specialising in Malaysia University Pathways
* Strong knowledge of and deep expertise in Malaysian universities and study pathways
* Fluency in Burmese — written and spoken – is essential.
English proficiency is required.
* A genuine commitment to acting in students' best interest
– not just closing a sale
* Excellent communication skills — the ability to build trust
