Position: Secondary Health Education Teacher Role
Join Richmond Christian School as a part-time Secondary Physical and Health Education Teacher focusing on Grades 9–12, starting September 2026. Foster students’ growth through engaging instruction and faith integration.
This role is designed for a dynamic educator passionate about physical education. As a 0.3 FTE position, you will focus on delivering developmentally appropriate education while supporting extracurricular athletics and nurturing students’ well-being. The successful applicant will incorporate Biblical teachings, promoting a holistic approach to physical health and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Physical and Health Education to secondary students
• Integrate faith perspectives into curriculum
• Mentor students in physical wellness and personal growth
• Participate in extracurricular athletics and school programs
• Collaborate effectively with fellow educators
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent degree
• Relevant background in Physical Education or related fields
• Teaching experience at the secondary level beneficial
• BC certification preferred or eligibility to obtain
• Legal authorization to work in British Columbia
