VLA Academy is seeking a qualified Scrum Master Instructor to deliver a fully sponsored Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) program issued by SCRUMstudy and accredited through VMedu.
Position Details:
• Hybrid modality (Online & On-Site)
• Location: Broward County, FL
• Schedule:
- Tuesdays | 6:30–9:30 PM (Online)
- Thursdays | 6:30–8:30 PM (On-Site)
- Cohort Start: Tuesday, May 26, 2026
- Program Duration: 20 hours · 8 sessions · 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver instructor-led Scrum Master training aligned with the SBOK® Guide and SMC™ exam objectives
• Facilitate interactive classes with group exercises, role plays, and Scrum simulations
• Teach Scrum roles, events, artifacts, and Agile principles
• Prepare students for the SMC™ certification exam
• Support student engagement and report progress to the Academic Direction team
Required Qualifications:
• Active Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) credential or equivalent certification (CSM, PSM I)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Scrum, Agile coaching, or Agile project coordination
• Experience teaching, training, or facilitating adult learners
• Strong knowledge of Scrum framework and SBOK® Guide
• Professional fluency in English and strong presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• SCRUMstudy ATP instructor status or VMedu trainer accreditation
• Additional certifications such as SAMC™, SPOC™, PMP, or PMI-ACP
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience coaching Agile teams in non-tech industries
