A fantastic Secondary School, situated within the centre of the Borough of Bexley, are seeking a Science Teacher / Science ECT to start full-time on a permanent basis in September 2025.
The Headteacher is looking for an inspiring and committed Science Teacher / Science ECT to join their focused and supportive Science Department. Throughout the school, the importance of reading and literacy is highlighted and the school are keen to hire a Science Teacher / Science ECT sharing this same passion.
This Secondary School was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted – the Sixth Form and the behaviour and attitudes of the students were found to be ‘Outstanding’. In 2023, the school placed in the top 10% of schools in England in relation to the provisional results achieved by Key Stage 4 pupils, and the majority of students every year go on to attend university.
Within the Science Teacher / Science ECT role, there are various opportunities for TLR for experienced teachers and eager ECTs, depending on experience, including Key Stage Co-ordinator, Lead Practitioner and more.

Working throughout the various Key Stages (KS3/KS4/KS5) alongside a fantastic team of Science Teachers / Science ECTs and Support Staff

MPS1 – UPS + TLRs (Amount dependent on experience)PERSON SPECIFICATION
Must hold UK QTS
An individual with the ability to collaborate with an ambitious group of Science Teachers
Strong academics (GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree)
A motivated Teacher that is able to listen to and take feedback SCHOOL DETAILS
