Are you a passionate and motivated Science graduate ready to begin your teaching career in September 2026? I am seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Science to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield.

The Role:
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 depending on specialism)
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning
Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school policies
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities
A structured and supportive ECT induction programme with experienced mentors
A collaborative and welcoming Science department
Excellent CPD opportunities to support career progression
Well-equipped laboratories and strong technician support
A positive and inclusive school culture focused on student achievement and staff wellbeing
Hold (or be on track to achieve) QTS by September 2026
Have a strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed)
Be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
Be reflective, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
