Work pattern: 6 hours 40 minutes per week, term time only (39 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 1 hour 20 minutes a day, between 11.30 AM – 1.30 PM (hours to be agreed)
Salary information: G2, Point 8; £4,468 per annum

The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring person to join our team as a Midday Supervisor at Cannon Lane Primary School, a popular school in Harrow. This role involves overseeing the basic care and wellbeing of children during lunchtime, ensuring a calm and orderly environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supervise the children at lunch times, being aware of pupils’ activities at all times.
- Ensure polite behaviour at lunch tables and offer assistance to pupils requiring help with their lunches.
- Administer minor first aid, ensuring that all accidents and injuries are recorded in the “Accident Book” and reported to the Senior Midday Supervisor.
- Tidy and sweep the floors, and wipe down the tables before storing them in the cupboard at the end of lunchtime.
- Supervise the children on the playground and organise engaging play activities.
The school is committed to safeguarding children and follows safer recruitment practices as outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023. Successful applicants will be required to provide enhanced DBS disclosure and complete the required declaration form under the Childcare Disqualifications Regulations 2009.
