Background

A leading Jordanian non-profit organisation is seeking an experienced professional educational administrator for a senior managerial position in its educational centers.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

– Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the school’s educational programs.

– Foster a positive school culture that promotes high expectations for student achievement and behavior.

– Evaluate and supervise the performance of teachers and staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

2. Academic Oversight:

– Develop and monitor the school’s curriculum in alignment with national standards.

– Analyze academic performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective instructional strategies.

– Promote innovative teaching methods and integrate technology into the classroom.

3. Student Support:

– Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to student growth and well-being.

– Address student behavioral issues and implement appropriate intervention strategies.

– Collaborate with counselors and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.

5. Budget and Resource Management:

– Develop and manage the school’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support educational goals.

– Oversee the maintenance of school facilities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

6. Policy Implementation:

– Implement and enforce school policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with district and state guidelines.

– Stay informed about educational laws, regulations, and trends to ensure compliance and promote best practices.

Qualifications

– BSc/BA in in Education Administration or a related field.

– Minimum of 8 years of teaching experience, with 4-5 years of administrative experience preferred.

– Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.

Skills:

– Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

– Effective communication and public speaking abilities.

– Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation for educational improvement.

– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

– Fluency in English and Arabic required
