About This Opportunity
Make a Difference After School – Become a Running & Reading Club Mentor! Join the fun and impact lives with the Start2
Finish Running & Reading Club—a unique after‑school program that promotes literacy, healthy active living, and play for children aged 6–13 (Grades 1–6).
Just one afternoon a week for two hours, you’ll support students through meaningful activities that help them stay in school, build self‑confidence, and form positive relationships with peers and mentors.
You don’t need to be a runner—there’s a role for everyone!
Responsibilities
- Participate in fun fitness activities
- Read one‑on‑one with children
- Help serve healthy snacks
- Lead or support engaging literacy games and activities

Volunteer Requirements
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Agree to volunteer code of conduct
- Minimum 16 years old
- Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
