Role Description The Robotics Specialist role at Delhi Public School, Kanpur is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. The Robotics Specialist will design and conduct robotics classes and workshops for students, introducing core concepts in robotics, automation, and mechatronics. Responsibilities include developing age-appropriate lesson plans, setting up and maintaining robotic kits and equipment, and guiding students through hands-on projects and competitions. The role also involves collaborating with teachers to integrate robotics into the wider curriculum, ensuring safety standards in the lab, and supporting extracurricular robotics clubs and events.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Robotics and Robot systems, including design, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Automation and Process Automation to develop and optimize robotic activities and workflows.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Mechatronics, combining mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience teaching or mentoring students in STEM or robotics programs is highly desirable.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, design engaging hands-on activities, and ensure safe use of equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Comfort working in a school environment and collaborating with educators and administrators.
