Role Description The Robotics Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Thrissur. This role involves planning and delivering engaging robotics and STEM lessons using age-appropriate kits, tools, and curricula. The instructor will guide learners through hands-on activities in robotics, coding, and basic electronics, ensuring concepts are understood and applied in practical projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, setting up and maintaining equipment, monitoring student progress, and offering individualized support where needed. The Robotics Instructor will also collaborate with colleagues, support school or center events, assist with robotics clubs or competitions, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Robotics, including working with educational robotics kits and platforms.
  • Background in STEM fields, such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for learners.
  • Hands-on Programming skills (e.g., block-based coding, Python, Arduino, or similar) relevant to educational robotics.
  • Effective Communication and Training skills, with experience teaching or mentoring children or young adults.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Ability to manage classrooms or group activities, encourage participation, and support diverse learning styles.
  • Problem-solving mindset, patience, and enthusiasm for working with learners in a creative, project-based environment.
  • Experience with educational technology tools and participation in robotics clubs or competitions is an advantage.
