Overview

We are seeking two dynamic and engaging Retail Field Trainers to support onboarding and ongoing development for retail employees across designated territories. This role is highly interactive and field-based, focused on delivering impactful training experiences that set employees up for success.

The ideal candidate is passionate about coaching, enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, and thrives in a role that combines in-person facilitation with hands-on support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the first 12 weeks of onboarding for new retail employees
  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, including classroom-style and on-the-job training
  • Deliver structured induction programs to all new hires across retail locations
  • Provide 1:1 coaching, mentorship, and follow-up training to reinforce learning
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure employees meet required performance benchmarks
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support the rollout of training content and initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining and updating eLearning content within the LMS (Dichebo)
  • Ensure all training materials, records, and documentation are accurate and up to date
  • Provide timely and actionable feedback to line managers on employee progress
  • Maintain training environments that are organized and conducive to learning
  • Support additional training or operational initiatives as needed

Role Structure & Environment

  • Field-based role with a mix of:
  • Traveling to retail locations
  • Hosting training sessions at designated sites
  • Primarily in-person facilitation, with some virtual components (webinars, coaching calls)
  • Flexible scheduling based on training needs (occasional evenings/weekends may be required)
  • Covers approximately 10–12 retail locations per trainer

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in training, facilitation, teaching, or coaching
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience delivering in-person and/or 1:1 training
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with travel and managing a flexible schedule
  • Experience with LMS platforms (preferred, not required)
  • Background in retail, hospitality, or education is a plus
  • Open to candidates with teaching or coaching backgrounds transitioning into corporate training
